Die ganze Sch\u00f6n\u00adheit der Formen und Farben erschlie\u00dft sich allerdings nicht beim \u00fcblichen Rundgang um die hei\u00dfe Quelle, sondern erst von einem h\u00f6heren Stand\u00adpunkt aus. Durch einen Wald stiegen wir auf einen nahe gelegenen Berg und fanden einen sch\u00f6nen Aussichts\u00adpunkt. Bereits beim Aufstieg bemerkten wir zwei Bisons, die sich langsam in Richtung Grand Prismatic Spring bewegten. Ob sich diese wohl an den Rand der fragilen Erdkruste wagen w\u00fcrden, unter der etwa 90 \u00b0C hei\u00dfes Wasser flie\u00dft \u2026?<br \/>\nIch suchte mir einen geeigneten Aufnah\u00adme\u00adplatz und wartete. Nach einiger Zeit gingen die beiden Bisons tats\u00e4ch\u00adlich \u2014 wie ich es mir erhofft hatte \u2014 zu den fantas\u00adti\u00adschen Farbstruk\u00adturen am Rand der hei\u00dfen Quelle. Auf diese Art gelang es mir eine schon so h\u00e4ufig fotografierte Natursch\u00f6nheit zusammen mit den \u201eUrein\u00adwoh\u00adnern\u201c des Yellows\u00adtone Nationalparks festzuhalten und dadurch eine neue Bildaus\u00adsage zu erzielen.
